My recent trip to Berlin saw a lot of firsts for me. My first time in Germany, my first taste of schnitzel and my first time using a film camera (well, one that's not disposable). I bought my Minolta X-700 on eBay for £23 and loaded it with some Kodak Portra 400 film resulting in these images. I'm really pleased with my new camera and I can't wait to take it on future trips.

Great pics! I went to Berlin in 2012 and barely took any, so it's always nice to see others'. The film turned out really nice. I bought a little fisheye camera and that just turned out terrible. What a waste of money!

These are awesome photos!! I have been wanting to try film for a while but I haven't got round to it yet :)
ReplyDeleteThanks :) Ooh I'm not sure how I feel about fisheye cameras haha my friend has one she uses but it always gives me a bulbous head! She does take some nice photos with it though, maybe it's just practice? I know I need to practice with my film one, quite a few of the pics came out blurry :(
ReplyDeleteThank you! :) It's taken me a while too, I wanted to make sure I got the right camera for me :)
ReplyDeletebulbous head haha oh no! It's the lighting I struggle with, either way too light or dark, but most of the time way too dark and blurry! Guhh must practice
ReplyDeleteThanks Carsla! :)
